Most general contractors in this town are project managers. They line up subs, run a schedule, and hope the trades show up on the right day. That's fine for a new-build in the suburbs. It's the wrong model for a 130-year-old shotgun in Germantown that needs its knob-and-tube pulled, its plaster patched, and its original transom rebuilt.

Riverside Reno is licensed at the Louisville Metro level as a Type A Building Contractor, and we hold state HBC licenses in electrical and HVAC. That means we can pull our own permits, wire our own panels, and run our own ductwork — the exact three tasks that stretch other GCs' timelines by weeks. When we quote a six-week kitchen, it finishes in six weeks because we're not waiting on a sub.

How we're different

• One crew, start to finish. The same three or four faces show up every day. You'll know their names by week two. No revolving door of unmarked vans.
• Itemized quotes. Every quote lists hours × labor rate + a materials line for every purchase, with the trip charge and haul-off broken out. You see exactly where the money goes.
• Real timelines. If we say six weeks, we mean six weeks. We won't quote a fast timeline to win the job and then stretch it out on you.
• Honest scope. If your project doesn't need us, we'll tell you. Some jobs are better handled by a handyman, and some are too big for a small crew. We say so up front.
